Maine: Cortland Rehab Nursing Unit in Ellsworth To Close

Staff and patients’ families were notified on Wednesday, June 28 that Courtland Rehabilitation & Living Center’s 54-bed nursing unit in Ellsworth will close.

Courtland Rehab, owned by North Country Associates in Lewiston, has been scrubbed from North Country Associates’ website. When clicking on the website link, you get a message “No Results Found”.

In a statement, Courtland said the facility’s new owners, Magnolia Assisted Living, would continue to run the residential care facility, expanding its capacity from 20 people to 46 people.

A message was left for Mary Jane Richards the Chief Executive Officer of North Country Associates in Lewiston on Thursday morning.
